FAQs
What's the difference between Coaching and DIY?
Coaching ($169/month) gets you personalized guidance, form checks, and direct access to me throughout your training. This is having a PT, Coach, and Women's Health Specialist all in your pocket. Full 1:1 support through the app - message me anytime, send videos for form checks, troubleshoot whatever comes up, and celebrate the wins.
DIY ($79/month) gives you the full program, with all the same workouts, to crush on your own. This is for those who have experience in the gym, but want to take out the guesswork and have exceptional programming written for them. You will have access to me for quick questions and in the case that you need your calendar moved due to life being lifey.
What if I'm a complete beginner?
I will meet you right where you are! In the initial intake form, you will have an opportunity to tell me about your exercise experience/where you are starting. Then we decide together if a ramp-up phase is necessary to start. Exercises in all programs include video demos and modifications. I do recommend the “Coaching” option for beginners, so we can tailor things to your needs and progress as you are ready!
What equipment do I need?
Free weights (a few sets of dumbbells, kettlebells, preferably 10+ lbs)
Bench or similar household item
Resistance bands or cables
Nice to have but not critical: Barbell, pull-up bar, weighted medicine ball
Can I switch between Coaching and DIY?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Just reach out, and we'll make it happen.
What if I need to pause my membership?
Life happens. If you need to pause, just let me know, and we can figure out the best option for you.
How do I access the workouts?
Everything is delivered through the TrueCoach mobile app. You'll get your weekly programming, video demos, and direct messaging access to me.
What if I do other sports?
I work with loads of athletes, most of whom are busy moms. I have designed training blocks that allow for periodization during training and performance seasons. If this is you, I recommend signing up for the “Coaching” option or filling out the form below so we can chat about what you might need.
How many workouts per week?
Each 8-12 week training block (training block description in next FAQ) can differ, but you can expect 3-4 full-body strength workouts per week. Most blocks will include some cardio, depending on the goal of the block. But remember, autonomy is everything around here! If you can't fit in 4 days, do 2-3! If you can't do both cardio and strength at the same time, do the cardio later. You can rotate through days each week to hit all the exercises, but each workout is full-body and designed to include all basic movement patterns, so if you don’t get to all the days, you'll get what you need, just with a bit less volume. Within the workouts, if you want to substitute or go rogue and do something different, you do you!
What are training blocks and how do they work?
Training blocks are focused programs designed around specific goals, like Strength, Conditioning, or Muscle-Building. Each block runs for a set number of weeks (typically 8-12). New blocks launch throughout the year based on seasons and goals.
